Court still Grants Fayose Permission To Travel Abroad Despite N6.9bn Money Laundering

Ayodele Fayose Ekiti state Ex-Governor was re-arraigned on Tuesday before Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court Sitting in Lagos.

Fayose was first arraigned last October 22 on an 11-count charge of receiving and keeping N1.2billion and $5million stolen funds from the office of National Security Adviser (ONSA) contrary to the Money Laundering Act.

The re-arraignment follows the re-assignment of the case to Justice Aneke after the  EFCC expressed loss of confidence in Justice Mojisola Olatoregun, who was previously handling it.
